General Information:

Conference participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral research papers or poster presentations. Oral papers and posters should consist of original, completed work. Oral presentations will be 15 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes for questions.  Educators, researchers and students in all areas of mathematics and statistics are invited to apply. Professionals or graduate students may submit abstracts for oral papers and poster presentations are only open to students (high school, undergraduate, and graduate).

The abstract submission deadline is September 14, 2007. Individuals will be notified by October 1, 2007 regarding the acceptance of their submission.

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

All abstracts must be submitted electronically to program@ipcmath.org.

Please send by e-mail:

• Name
• Contact Information (including phone number and email)
• Job Title or Student Classification
• Affiliation
• Area of Mathematics or Statistics
• Title of Paper/Poster and Full Abstract (Max. 250 words)
• For oral presentations, please indicate if you intend to present with PowerPoint or by using an overhead projector.

Audio-Visual Guidelines: 

The standard items of audio-visual equipment supplied upon request for all sessions without cost to the speaker are one overhead projector, one screen, and one LCD/data projector (for computer or PowerPoint presentations). Presenters using LCD/data projectors for computer or PowerPoint presentations should bring their presentation on a CD or ThumbDrive.
