What is the best part of what you do? 

Flexibility.

Why do you like mathematics and/or statistics?

I like the power that comes from understanding mathematics.  I also like seeing and understanding patterns.

What resources have helped you?

Professors, career counselors, parents, friends, books like The Artist's Way.

What do you like to do for fun?

Play music, and to spend time outside.

What was the best piece of advice you received?

Form a community while you're in grad school.

What do most people not know about mathematics/mathematicians?

That we're fun even though we can't help thinking analytically.
